Want to perform AR tracking on a video I recorded. Its saved as an mp4. Doing this in Unity.

You can certainly play a video on a tracked object.
I would advise to check our Core Sample app (on the Unity Asset store)-> Image Targets scene. The ImageTarget_Fissure has a video playing once the image is recognized.
