Dear support-team,
I just updated Unity to 2019.4.0 and Vuforia to 9.2.7 because of extreme startup times for 64bit android builds in 2018.4.23.
It solved this problem but now I am facing huge build sizes. It used to be 53 mb now it's 200mb!
The reason is that I used to compress the image target textures in the editor-folder (override to etc2 4 bits).
But now all changes that I apply to the override settings switch back to default after I have applied them.
Is Vuforia preventing this? And why do I need the textures in the build. I understand that they are necessary to set things up in the editor but why are they included in the build?
Help is much appreciated and best, Friedulia
