CloudRecoEventHandler Script Error

April 23, 2019 - 9:28am #1

Hello,

I am getting the error:

Assets/SamplesResources/SceneAssets/CloudReco/Scripts/CloudRecoEventHandler.cs(17,14): error CS0101: The namespace `global::' already contains a definition for `CloudRecoEventHandler'

I am using:

Unity 2018.2.8f1

Vuforia 8.1.7

Most up to date Android SDK

I have tried re-importing Vuforia Core Samples Pack and I have also tried completely deleting the library folder for this project.  Any other things I could try?

Thanks in advance.

It shows "8.1.7:cb98e851bdb1112067cef00e7855972f"

This won't work even if I use the Unity 2019 editor?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Sounds like a similar issue: the samples version you're using < Engine SDK version.

What shows in the Core samples project: Unity Editor->Project window: Assets/Vuforia/version? This is the samples version.

Thanks,

Thanks!

Now I am running the project in Unity 2019.1.0f2.

I also changed a line in the Packages/manifast file to "com.unity.package-manager-ui": "2.1.2",

I am now getting the errors in the attached picture.  Any idea what might cause this?

Hello,

Vuforia Engine 8.1 SDK was not meant for use with Unity Editor 2018.2: https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Vuforia-Supported-Versions

The likely situation you are in is that we have not made the 8.1 samples available to 2018.2, so you've downloaded an older version of the samples. To confirm, please review this file in the Core samples project: Unity Editor->Project window: Assets/Vuforia/version

I recall where someone on the forums posted the fix for this issue but I cannot find the thread right now.

Thanks,

Vuforia Engine Support
