Depreciated Image Targets on Vuforia V9.4.6???

I just read this on Vuforia's v9.4.6 release notes:

Image Targets The User Defined Targets feature and the corresponding ImageTargetBuilder API have been deprecated and will be removed in a future release.

What does this mean? Is the Vuforia Target Manager going away?

If so, how will we train image targets now?

Will our existing image-targets work on future releases?

No.

We will be deprecating the feature User Defined Targets, which was demo-ed in our Core Sample app. We are referring to this: https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Training/User-Defined-Targets-Guide

There are no planned changes to Target Manager/ Image Targets etc.

Hi,

    I cannot find User Defined targets option in image behaviour script. Is this feature removed from vuforia. If not, can you please guide me about how to create user defined targets.
