Device camera feed low quality? (and appears zoomed in or scaled up?)

Hello,

Currently I am planning to utilize Vuforia's object detection/tracking.

So far I've run the object tracking samples which have worked fine, but I've noticed the quality of the camera feed is very low, it appears as if the feed is at a low resolution and has been scaled up? (Hence the mention of it appearing to be zoomed in)

I'm testing with the Apple - 10.5-Inch iPad Pro and tested a build with the MODE_OPTIMIZE_QUALITY but that didn't appear to make any noticeable difference.

From what I've heard, Vuforia doesn't expose direct editing of the resolution settings, is there any way to change this via XCode?

I've used the search function on the forums but I am mostly seeing posts from 2015 and earlier, has there been any improvements on this?

Thanks!

Hello,

It is still correct that Vuforia Engine does not directly expose the ability to set camera capture/render resolution. These are abstracted through the Camera Device Modes, as you mentioned.

Thanks,
