Does anyone know if this means Unity 2019.2 is required in order to use Vuforia 8.6?  I'm still getting that error the original poster saw about "Package [com.unity.ugui@1.0.0] cannot be found"

Hi,

Yes, you require 2019.2+ for 8.6.

Thank you.

Hi,

Unfortunately we only have the latest version available for download on our website.

What version do you actually need 8.1.x?

Thank you.

I have an error like the following, to resolve how quickly An error occurred while resolving packages: Project has invalid dependencies: com.ptc.vuforia.engine: Cannot connect to 'undefined' (error code: ECONNRESET). Verify your environment firewall policies allow connection to this host name.

Hi @Cindyhanny,

The error is pointing to a connection issue. Have you tried the advice mentioned by the error?

Thank you.

i have the same problem. the result is https://pkgs.dev.azure.com/vuforia-engine/unity-extension/_packaging/unity-packages/npm/registry/. Can you help me?

Hi,

Please try the alternative mentioned in this article: https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/vuforia-engine-package-hosting-for-unity.html

Basically you will have to manually download the package and than import it manually.

Hi, can you help me?  i have this error since i updated the latest version of vuforia package.

(Failed to load .../FileDriver.dll' because one or more of its dependencies could not be loaded.)

HI,

I used the script available here:https://developer.vuforia.com/downloads/sdk and was *not* able to reproduce the issue.

Unity 2020.1.11 and 2019.4.11

Have you used the script for installing the SDK when testing a new project?

Thank you.

Yeah, I used add-vuforia-package-9-5-4.unitypackage from https://developer.vuforia.com/downloads/sdk. Should I use vuforia-sdk-android-9-5-3.zip too ?

Hi @shafizah,

No for Unity. So in order to update, you need to go under VuforiaConfiguration and than a prompt appears in the Inspector to update the SDK.

Hope it helps.
