Extended Tracking Greyed Out

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Extended Tracking is greyed out and Smart Terrain is not enabled. I'm using Unity 5.5.2p3 Personal 64bit on a Mac Pro and Vuforia SDK v6.2.10. See screenshot.

Nevermind. I figured it out. Turns out during my experimentation, I had put the smart terrain prefab in my hierarchy and once I deleted it the extended tracking option came back.
