Failed to convert Error while implementing Instant Image Targets at Runtime from a file or Texture2D Objects

SDK 10.0

I am trying to implement Instant Image Targets at Runtime from a file or Texture2D Objects as mentioned in the Developer Documentation (https://library.vuforia.com/objects/create-and-load-targets-unity)

When I load the Texture2D and call the VuforiaBehaviour.Instance.ObserverFactory.CreateImageTarget function I am getting the following error.

ArgumentException: Failed to convert Texture2D into pixel buffer.

Vuforia.Internal.Core.ObserverFactory.CreateImageTargetObserver (UnityEngine.Texture2D texture, System.Single widthInMeters, System.String targetName, System.Nullable`1[T] motionHint) (at <f8eea962600042608a43a95bfdce1273>:0)

Vuforia.ObserverFactory.CreateImageTarget (UnityEngine.Texture2D texture, System.Single widthInMeters, System.String targetName) (at <f8eea962600042608a43a95bfdce1273>:0)

I tried different images, error still remain the same.

I also tried to load the resource using Resource.Load function but still same error.
