Hi, I'm desperately trying to get gearVR (with pass-through mode) to work with latest version of Unity and Vuforia.
Sadly, I'm not having a pleasant experience. I can get my Samsung to do the fun Vuforia things on it's own and I can get my gearVR working easy peasy. But putting them together is proving a challenge. I'm not looking to use the VR features at the moment, just 'simple' AR :) Or simply having Vuforia working with gearVR's pass-through camera to do some image marker tracking/recognition. I've also searched for a few hours for a possible solution online for the latest versions of Unity/Oculus SW/Vuforia without success. Only instructions for some older versions.
The closes I've come is by doing a custom set-up for the eyewear, but I'm missing a bunch of information. Perhaps someone could help me out with these.
Any other solutions/steps would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello RegisVe,
Hello RegisVe,
As mentioned in this article, gearVR support in Vuforia has been deprecated since Vuforia 6.5.
Thanks,

Any chance that Vuforia will bring this back? The GearVR is one of the few HMDs that don't block the camera lens.
