This is an unsolved common issue: How to get the camera feedback?
There is this article: How-To-Access-the-Camera-Image-in-Unity
but it is far from clear what should I do + the given script has errors (registration in lines 15,16,17, since "VuforiaBehaviour does no contain a definition for RegisterVuforiaStartedCallback / RegisterOnPauseCallback /RegisterTrackablesUpdatedCallback" )
But even if it didn't, I wouldn't know what to do with it!
The above article also includes a second way that I don't understand either.
If I try to use the standard Unity way (using WebCamTexture.play(); ....), then there is no feedback from camera at all. The hole project is being blocked.
So if anyone can decode the above link, please simplify it and fill the missing steps so anyone can blindly just apply the camera input on a mesh/object/surface.
Also, Does it refer to the latest Vuforia 6.2 + Unity 5.6 (x64) or do I have to downgrade in order to have it work?
Thanx.
Hi - Even I run into issue
Hi - Even I run into issue when trying to use VuforiaBehavior class. But read in one other topic to use VuforiaARController and it works fine. So you may give it a try.
VuforiaARController.Instance.RegisterVuforiaStartedCallback(OnVuforiaStarted);
Hello,
Hello,
Apologies for the inaccurate references in the article. I will open an issue to have it updated.
As @mageshrathnam stated, the VuforiaBehavior class was deprecated in 6.2. Please see the following article for more information:
