Get depth map of Lidar sensor with Vuforia Fusion

I am currently trying to let items spawn and collide with real world objects after a image target is tracked. Therefore I would like to get the depth data from the iPad Lidar sensor. Would that somehow be possible with Vuforia Fusion and ARKit? As far as I know Vuforia Fusion already uses the iPad Lidar sensor for improved tracking stability. So it should be possible to get the depth informations somehow.

Unfortunately this is not possible with Vuforia.

A possible solution for your use-case would be to use our latest Vuforia Engine version, 9.5 with AR Foundation, which we now support. ARFoundation provides access to the depth map, ss per this information:
