Depends how you're detecting the ground. The plane finder can either find ground planes automatically or through user interaction. There are two functions in the inspector (if your mode is set to automatic) that you can edit (with the + or - values). The automatic one migth be the one you want and you can just add a function to call whenever it happens to do whatever else you want to do when it occurs.
