Ground plane example -asset store

Hi all,

Would anybody be willing to share how I can customise the Asset store Ground Plane sample scene so that it bypasses the plane detection and allows me to position mid-air from the get-go?

I can't figure out how to do this and there's no documentation that I can find.

Getting really confused with the way this is set up.

So mid-air positioning always relies on getting a hit on the ground plane first?

I thought there might be a way to just place content relative to the mid-air indicator somehow.

Then their will be no points to calculate where the model is?

 

This will be very unstable
