Handlers not Found after upgrade

December 17, 2020 - 3:14pm #1

I'm currently using unity 2019.4.16 LTS to migrate vuforia to a newer version. however after the update to 9.6.3 via the package manager, Unity marks the following errors

The type or namespace name 'ImageTargetBuilder' could not be found

The type or namespace name 'IUserDefinedTargetEventHandler' could not be found

The type or namespace name 'ITrackableEventHandler' could not be found

I haven't found a workaround these errors

Is there way to correct or update the elements that use these handlers??. Thanks in advance

Handlers not Found after upgrade

Hi,

We removed the User Defined Targets feature and the corresponding ImageTargetBuilder API with 9.6.3. https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Release_Notes/Vuforia-SDK-Release-Notes.html

In the release we also mention following: Alternatively, the RuntimeImageSource.SetImage() methods can be used to create an image target at runtime from any source, including a camera frame.

In order to access camera frames, please review this: https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Working-with-the-Camera.html#How-To-Access-the-Camera-Image-in-Unity

Hope it helps.
