Have both canvas' buttons and Vuforia video canvas' button working in the same scene?

Hello!

I have a Vuforia Image target that displays a 3D model of a billboard with a video. I'm using Vuforia's Core Samples scenes to play and pause my video and it works fine.

However, I added a canvas to display a yellow back button to allow the user to move back to the main menu scene and it works BUT it disables the video's play button, I cannot longer play the video when I have this canvas. I have a screenshot of these bug in this link below.

Could someone please help me debug this? I get no errors in the console either.

I'm working with Unity version 2018.3.14f1 and using Vuforia Core Samples from Unity Asset Store.

A single video has its own canvas that holds it's play button and progress bar so I don't know if there's a conflict in having different canvas. I also test having multiple videos using the same image target and each video plays just fine.

In the picture below I'm showing the objects I have under the Video-PreHistoricFL and the Canvas that hold the yellow back button.

I'm new to Unity and Vuforia so any help will be appreciated!

Hi,

I would check to see if when you are pressing the play button the action is registered. Try to add a Debug.Log(" Video play button has been pressed") in the video script and investigate the log. Basically you will need to debug the issue, one way is to add different log messages and check if certain action have been performed. (as described above)
