How can we get Vuforia 7.1 for Unity?

Vuforia 7.1 was just released last Tuesday (https://developer.vuforia.com/home-page) and mentions some improvements in how it works with Unity. 

How can I get ahold of it?  Unity Inc. has not released a new update since 2017.3.1f1, unless you count the 2018 beta.  Could you release a patch through the asset store?

Vuforia 7.1 will be available with Unity 2018 which is current in beta with the release happening this month.
