How to resolve conflicting version of Vuforia?

I'm having a similar issue to this and the solution in that is to check for a mismatch between the Engine SDK version and the Vuforia samples. So I did and I do have a conflict:

  • Project Version: [Unity > Project Window > Vuforia > Version] tells me I've got 8.3.8
  • SDK Version: [Unity > Window > Vuforia Configuration] tells me I've got 9.3.3

 

What I don't know is how to resolve this issue. I tried directly downloading the Vuforia SDK but that doesn't work, I get the following message "Nothing to import! All assets from this package are already in your project."
