Image Not showing in Image target object in unity

When I am adding an image target object and set the target from the existing database image ( Astronaut ), it is not displayed - the image attached for reference.

I have tried changing the image texture type to sprite (2D and UI) - but no effect. please suggest what can be the solution?

Please zoom on on the GameObject in the scene or press f once the GameObject in the Hierarchy is selected.
