Image recognition for paintings using vuforia

Hello,

I'm currently working on my thesis project, and it revolves around using augmented reality to create an application that recognises paintings and showcases information about their origin. Any clue how can I get started? Also, if there is any documentation covering this aspect of unity and vuforia. Thank you in advance!

Nice project. You could use Image Target for this use-case.

You would require some good quality pictures, the size of the paintings and then based on this create Image Targets. More info on this feature here: https://library.vuforia.com/features/images/image-targets.html
