I wish to develop an Android app using Vuforia image targets. I had delayed the project for a while till Vuforia added ARCore support in version 7.2. I am a bit confused about the specifics of Vuforia fusion, and about the list of Fusion supported devices. Will my app work on all version of Android like Lollipop, Marshmallow and earlier versions when using image targets, or would it work only on the list of Fusion supported devices?
This information is important to me since Google Play requires ARCore support to be added to all future augmented reality apps. The other reason is that more than 50 percent of the 900 million android phones being used in my country are still on Lollipop and earlier versions.
Your advise on this would be most appreciated.
