Is it possible to limit the image recognition from Vuforia to only pick up images when inside certain bounds on the screen? I would like to only recognise targets if it is inside a small box in the middle of the screen.
Limiting image recognition to part of the screen
This is possible, but don't think you'll get this out of the box and will have to code it. I'd create four empty game objects and place them at the corners of the image target as children. In an update loop calculate the screen positions of each using WorldToScreenPoint. If they are all inside the box, show what you need to show. See DefaultTrackableEventHandler.cs for how to tie into showing and hiding things when recognition occurs.
