Linux Build Target and Vuforia

June 22, 2021 - 11:07am #1

Has anyone been able to use Linux build target (Mono) to build a Unity Project that contains Vuforia inside it? I keep getting this error

Library\PackageCache\com.ptc.vuforia.engine@2df2f4d646\Vuforia\Scripts\Internal\ARFoundationIntegration\ARFoundationInitializer.cs(140,21): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'CameraMode' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

I get this error even when I created a dummy project with nothing in it and tried building it. Is there a solution to build using Linux or do you need to be on a Linux machine?

Linux Build Target and Vuforia

Vuforia Engine is an SDK build to work with devices like mobile phones, tables and see-through eyewear devices.

Building for Windows/Mac or Linux is not supported and probably will not work.

Thank you for your understanding.
