Missing Vuforia Text recognition for unity

as Title, the sample for text recognition is missing ... any way to retrieve it back?

I would also like to know what happened to Vuforia's Text Recognition.

 

I noticed in the v6.5.x patch notes that it was deprecated, but has it been replaced by something else?

With unity 2017.2 I also cannot access the text recognition feature.

The vuforia text recognition documentation states: "Notice: This feature is deprecated begining with Vuforia 7.0".

Is there a non-deprecated way to enable text recognition in unity for Vuforia7.0?

May I still use this text recognition function in my app in the future if I already built it with the current version?

As long as that version of the SDK has text recognition still. When the text reco feature is removed, your app using the feature will not be compatible with that version of the SDK.
