Greetings,
I'm new to Vuforia, so bear with a potential "oh, you can't do that" question.
I'd like to use an 8.5x11 target on the floor. When the target is found, I want to have 3D columns all around me. I was hoping I could simply have a number of columns around the target in Unity, set to the proper scale and distance to the size of the target. However, I am noticing that when I put the model off the target, it never shows up.
Do models have to be on the target to render?
Perhaps this is possible, but I am currently barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks in advance. Greg
Hello Greg,
Hello Greg,
What do you mean by "put the model off the target?" Are you removing the model from the Image Target game object? If so, you'll need to write additional code to make these columns appear when your image is detected.
Thanks,
Hi there,
Hi there,
Thank you for getting back to me. In the Unity 3D "Scene" pane, I have setup my Vuforia target game object. I can see the image assigned. All is well.
