I am currently wondering if there is possible to add new AR targets and/or entire databases from downloaded asset bundles.
My scenario considers a Unity Android and iOS application. Let's imagine that when the app releases we have a certain amount of targets available and active. What I would like to achieve, is having new targets available without the need to upgrade the application on the stores. So my best case scenario would be to download these new assets within an online hosted asset bundle.
It would not really matter if these new targets have to be in a new database, or in the already existing - and defined - within the app, locally on the device.
Would this be feasible ?
