Problem with extended tracking

October 6, 2020 - 8:14am #1

I am using Unity 2019.3 and the latest Vuforia realease. I have 20 image targets in my project. The logic that I use for tracking all the image targets is that when an image is found, all the children of the rest of the image targets are deactivated, and so on. Everything works well when extended tracking is off.

When this option is on for better tracking, when an image target is found, sometimes the content of the previous image that was tracked is there too, it's not deactivating. I know that extended tracking means that Vuforia is trying to keep the augmented content even when that image target it's not in front, but shouldn't stay there if it's deactivated.

To be more clear, when I track image A a cube appears and when I track image B, a sphere appears and the cube dissapears by code. Sometimes, the sphere and the cube are on screen in the same time, they are overlapping.

I want to mention that I need extended tracking for my project. Is it something that I do wrong, or is there a workaround for this problem?

Thank you.
