I have been trying for days now to get Smart Terrain to work with vuforia 6.2.10 and Unity 5.6.1f1 and have had no success.
I can successfully detect my object no problem. I can see that in the OnTrackableStateChanged event, that my object is being detected.
As soon as the object is detected, I see the Primary Surface under my Smart Terrain object get deactivated. I see a log message from the RegisterInitializedCallback on the Reconstructor, but the OnSurfaceCreated callback is never called.
I have my ARCamera set to Specific Target and pointed at the Primary Surface. Is there something else I am missing?
