Hi,
We have a translucent sculpture (thus no object tracking) that we're tracking with an image target.
The transformation between the image target and the model matches that of the virtual model. We even made a 3D scan of the virtual model to make sure that rotation axis angle and positioning is 1 to 1.
When we do track, however, the alignment is about 2" off.
We're using a 2017 iPad Pro.
Hello,
Hello,
What is the size of the Image Target and from what distance (camera to target) are you seeing this "offset"? Having a video that represents the motions in which you are observing this issue would be helpful to understanding more.
Hello,
Hello,
Thank you for responding.
First time hearing about the ARKit assist. I don't have it installed in my Unity Project, so unless Vuforia Engine loads it on its own, that shouldn't be the issue.
Hello,
Hello,
Support for ARKit was introduced in Vuforia 7.0 as part of Vuforia Fusion.

Thanks.
Thanks.
The keyword 'ARKit" doesnt come up in the build log ( via Unity Cloud build ), and I have it disabled in the inspector build settings.
Should I try to build with it enabled?
Hello,
Hello,
ARKit will be enabled by default. The message will be logged after Vuforia is initialized during runtime.
I suggest that if ARKit is disabled, you try it enabled to see if the performance improves.
Good luck!
