Unity 2020.1.5 Vuforia can not be found

Getting this error:

error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'Vuforia' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

 

This is a project that worked with Vuforia on older unity version. 

Now I can't even find the package on Package Manager.

 

How can I solve this?

Hi,

We updated our installation process.

The easiest way is to download the script available here: https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/vuforia-engine-package-hosting-for-unity.html and run it.

Thanks for the reply.

None of the 3 methods worked. 

I just can't see it in the package manager. 

BTW - In the package manager thers is no filter for all packages. 

And I tried to find in any of the other filters and it didn't work.

With the other 2 methods, you don't need to see it in the Package Manager.

It will be in the project. Could you please check your project? check to see if you have Vuforia configuration active? on mac: cmd+shift+v

Hi, 

The thing is I'm still getting the errors, and I don't see Vuforia configurations anywhere.

I have a similar issue where an old project no longer works when opening on a newer version of Unity, in this case 2021.3 silicon.
