User defined target enable when click

October 29, 2017 - 11:24am #1

Hello, I am working on project use Vuforia. I use both target image and user define. I want when click on button A, start scan frame and build new target. I saw options in target builder, but actually don't need auto scan frame, because maybe user don't click button A. So how to handle or what options I need tick.
Beside, maybe create user target like kudan, without camera allways parallel target to capture. Thank you so much, :).

Are you only checking this box in the scene before running the app, or are you programmatically modifying these fields as you want to enable and disable the UDT scanning?

Thanks,

User defined target enable when click

Thank you for your reply, but when I unchecked the box I can't use user defined target. I use your sample in Unity 2017.2, touch icon camera to capture target and "Low Image Quality" show up every time I try. When I check the box, everything work perfectly. So, what should I need to do to turn scan -> capture target -> turn off scan. My app support user both image target and user defined target same scene, so I worry bad performance if user just use image target.

Hello anhvuitnh113,

If you are not wanting User Defined Targets to start scanning automatically, you can disable this by unchecking the box for this field on the "User Defined Target Building Behaviour" component. You can also access this behavior programmatically. The samples demonstrate this in the UDTEventHandler.cs script.

Thanks,
