Until Vuforia 2017.1 and the stand-alone Vuforia package, target detection worked pretty well on macOS using the FaceTime camera of a MacBook Pro. But since the latest Release 2017.3 and the embedded Vuforia 7, there is a huge degradation when the FaceTime camera is used under non-optimal lighting conditions. As soon as the light gets a bit darker (later afternoon or evening), the framerates drop drastically (up to 3 frames or so per second), which causes the video to be very blurry and thus prevents target recognition. Is there any way to improve this and return to the performance of 2017.1?!
Hello waldgeist,
Hello waldgeist,
I have not encountered this issue. Do you have a separate computer or webcam to test this with and see if the issue is still occurring?
Thanks,
