Vuforia 7 + ARKit world position

Hi there,

I'm working on an iOS app with Unity beta, which includes Vuforia 7. What I'd like to do is use an Image Target to momentarily capture the transform of the target relative to the camera, but otherwise use the world transform (presumably) provided by ARKit so that the Image Target is no longer necessary.

The Image Target part works fine. I'm just confused about how to use the ARKit tracking. The only setting I can find that seems relevant in the Vuforian Configuration panel is "Device Tracker", but this seems to only offer "rotational" and "positional" options, instead of both.

I'm new to Vuforia and was unable to find any documentation on this, so any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello soedev,

Documentation on using the Ground Plane feature within Vuforia 7 will be available closer to the commercial release of Vuforia 7.

Thank you for your continued interest in Vuforia,

Have you find the solution for this problem? I'm trying to do the exact same thing. And I'm having problems finding the information I need.

Thanks
