Vuforia breaks Visual Studio - cannot Attach to Unity Debugger

Does everyone have this much trouble with Vuforia?

I finally figured out how to get Vuforia installed only to find Visual Studio is messed up

Unity 2019.3.0a2, Vuforia 8.0.10, VS 2019 16.1.1

I can't update Vuforia to 8.1.11 - don't know why.

Now the "Attach to Unity Editor" button used to debug is gone.

I have checked other projects not using Vuforia and they are fine.

Is Vuforia this much trouble all the time?

Please note that Vuforia Engine SDK 8.1.X *does not* support Unity 2019.3: https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Vuforia-Supported-Versions
