Hi everyone,
I'm currently starting out with Unity and Vuforia on my Macbook Air (M1 Sillicon). It unfortunately doesn't show my camera in play mode. I've already changed the webcam profiles, which did not fix the issue. I think the problem occurs due to Vuforia not working on M1, or at least, the folders don't include the ARM architecture (see error below). Does anyone have any experience with running Vuforia on an Apple M1 device?
Kind regards,
Joris

Hey there,
Hey there,
Vuforia Engine does not support native Mac ARM, yet. Therefor you should use the Unity Editor for Intel CPUs in emulator mode.

How do we do that?

I could not find an example online.
Could you provide examples or images.
Thanks
I think what pscheper meant
I think what pscheper meant is running the Intel x86 version of Unity Editor on your Apple Silicon Mac using Rosetta, do NOT use the 3.0Beta version of the Unity Hub which launches the Apple Silicon Editor automatically if it's installed.
Hey both,
Hey both,
Yesterday we updated the forums to include a "Community Feedback" group. This is great feedback for the new "Devices & Hardware" category: https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/community-feedback/devices-and-hardware

The only way to use Vuforia Engine with native Mac ARM is to run the Unity Editor in emulator mode.
