Vuforia Marker Position

Hi,

I have a Vuforia marker which I want to move left and right and based on these two locations, the 3D object on the marker will change color. So Basically I need to figure the position of the marker in order to change the 3D object color based on its position whether left or right. Any help would be really appreciated. Just in explaining a way to do it or specific code.
