I have Unity 2019.3.12f1 and Vuforia 9.1.7 .I have ARCamera which Im running some animation when camera opens .The camera is added to the scene but not active until I activate the ARCamera via the the SetActive(true) code .
Sometime Vuforia fails to initialize which will result in some green screen with message Vuforia failed to initialize and sometimes the camera and AR opens but the background is black and I see frame rate drops .On Android ,I find this message ErrorSpacePayload='ArStatusErrorSpace::AR_ERROR_NOT_YET_AVAILABLE'] in Logcat
The issue happens on Android and much less on IPhone ,my inquiy is :
-How can I make sure the Vuforia is ready before the Camera is opened ? I cant find a way to hook into the code and test this .And if Vuforia is not ready what should I do ,try to open it again ?
-What could be the reasons these errors happen ?
-What option of the camera device mode (Mode_Default ,Optimize_Speed,Optimize_Quality ) causes less frame rate drop and enhance animation performance in the AR experience .
