Vuforia & Unity Scenes

Hello

I have a scene called AR_Scene. This scene contains Vuforia Image Targets and an AR camera. It works as intended.

I have a login screen called Login_Scene. There are no Vuforia objects in this scene.

 

When the Login_Scene starts (it is the first level to be loaded) Vuforia also starts, image targets load and a video background appears. This is despite there being no Vuforia components in the scene.

This is very frustrating, why is Vuforia set up to do this by default? How is it taking control over my project like this? How do I disable this behaviour and control how Vuforia starts and stops?

I'm glad you found that post. You are correct, there is no update to this as of yet, but we are working towards resolving it in a future version of Vuforia.
