Vuforia on UWP ARM/ARM64

April 10, 2019 - 10:36am #1

Hello,

I'm using Unity 2019.1.0f1. I have the latest Vuforia 8.1.7. I build for Universal Windows Platform in Unity. It creates a Visual Studio solution.

When I try to build the Visual Studio solution on ARM or ARM64, it fails with the error:

Error MSB3030 Could not copy the file "[...removed...]\Plugins\ARM\VuforiaDL.dll" because it was not found.

or

Error MSB3030 Could not copy the file "[...removed...]\Plugins\ARM64\VuforiaDL.dll" because it was not found.

Is it currently supported? I see the ARM support in the Universal Windows Platform SDK but it does not seems integrated in Unity.

Any plan to support it soon?

Thanks!

Alexandre

Hello @zhangazheng,

HoloLens 2 is not yet commercially available. However, Vuforia Engine SDK will support it upon commercial release.

Thanks,

You can download Unity 2019 from here now. https://unity3d.com/get-unity/download/archive.

Hololens 2 is based on UWP-ARM platform,  is it possible to use vuforia on Hololens 2?

Hello,

Where can I download Unity 2019.1.0f1? I don't see it on Unity's website.

Thanks,
