Webcam no longer being activated/rendering

I was working on a AR game, a few months ago (4-6 months) using Unity 2017.1.1f1 version. I now have gone back and reopened the project and the webcam no longer renders/opens, I just get a black screen. I get the same thing when I plug in my iPhone and use UnityRemote, just a black screen. Does anyone know why or what this issue could be?
