Webcam not working

Hi,

I am on Unity 2019.4.6f1 on a macbook pro mid 2012 (High Sierra) and I got this message error below.

When I play on Unity, I got only a black empty screen and the camera is not starting.

I precise I have no problem with the camera that works fine on other application.

It seems like I am not the first one to got this issue.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Hi,

I believe you need to change the name to: "FaceTime HD Camera (Built-in)" for your camera in the webcamprofiles.xml, available under Packages/com.ptc.vuforia.engine/Vuforia/Editor/EditorResources/webcamprofiles.xml

I also got that problem... i already follow the Tutorial on YT but it's still not working at all...

i try to change my camera name on that xml file, but it's the same... nothing change...

Hi. Select the Action menu, then select Scan for hardware changes. Wait for it to scan and reinstall updated drivers, restart your device, then try opening the Camera app again.

Hi,

since I updated to Vuforia 10 latest version I have the problem that my camera does not work in playmode anymore.

What should I do? It says "Failed to get Webcam Image".

I already deleted my ARCamera and added a new one but it does not help.
