Database Not Found

Hi there,

Object scanner looks to be a fantastic tool and I'm starting to work with it with a huge amount of excitement.

I've followed all of the tutorials based around an Android platform, scanned objects via Android, created a database and targets, downloaded database and imported into my Unity project. To get to know the workflow I'm using objectrecognition-4-0-5.unitypackage

My licence key is added to the ARCamera QCAR - so everything should work. However, I get the message 'Database not found - Please scan an object and load a database upon pressing play in Unity.

I've built to an Android device successfully, but the same message happens.

I'm hoping its a simple step I've missed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve

Hi David,

Thanks for your support. Turned out I needed to activate 'Load Data Set' under Data Set Load Behaviour component.

The error message has now gone, though my database models are not showing up yet. May need further model uploads to get the hang of it.

Make sure that your the database you've created is associated with the app you'd defined in the license manager. Also confirm that the database is in /streaming assets/qcar and that it's loaded and activated on the ARCamera.
