With Webcam -> No network available

Hey guys,

i really want to use my webcam to test the apps in play mode in the editor. But it did not work. Then i read that this is caused by the 64-bit version of Unity 5.0. Now i have installed the 32-bit version. Now the following error occurres when i press play:

QCAR Initialization Error

No network available. Please make sure you are connected to the Internet.

When i disconnect my webcam or enable the checkbox "Don´t use for Play Mode" all works fine. what happens here? :/

Thanks

If you are using Vuforia 4.0 on Unity 5.0 32-bit (or 4.6.3f1) for Windows, here's a workaround to try:

  1. Using Unity 4.6.3f1 (5.0 32-bit might work, haven't tested it), import Vuforia 3.0.9 CloudReco sample app and run in PlayMode and recognize a target
  2. Switch back to Vuforia 4.0 and Unity 4.6.3f1 (or 5.0) and try running again

Let us know if this works.
