Correct gyroscope and accelerometer drift of VR scene with AR tag detection coordinates

Hi all,

I am failry new to VR development.

I would like to build an artificial (VR) scene in unity that uses the larger field of view and the immersion of VR  but i want to anchor one point in that scene to a point in real space.

The whole experience is supposed to be in VR with the larger eye images of VR. The only reason for tag detection is to correct the cumulative gyroscope and accelerometer drift  and  correct the VR camera position in regular intervals.

I don't want to overlay any AR element to the camera image.

Is this possible with vuforia ?
