Hi guys!
Is it technically possible, to stream the video, and use Vuforia to recognize objects in this streaming video?
The video stream type should be on of RTMP, M3U8, I think.
The object I need to detect, also can be the tyre on the Gokart for example, which is spinning. But the tyre would be actually on the same position in the video, because the camera would be positioned on the gokart itself. Will Vuforia recognize the spinning element? Because the shape around is mostly the same, but it is not still, because its spinning simetrically. Would that work?
Thank you for every answer in advance!
Hello,
Hello,
Vuforia's performance is not optimized for moving targets. This is mostly because movement introduces image blur, and image blur works against our computer vision algorithms.
Thanks,

Hi!
Hi!
Thank you for you answer!
So even if we would scan the object and put it into the database as targets, it wouldn't help right?

Hello,
Hello,
The issue is related to the quality of the camera image coming from the device, and into the Vuforia Engine SDK. If the images processed by the SDK are compromised due to motion blur, detection and tracking will not be performant.
