Hi,
the new feature for creating targets from files and textures at runtime is fantastic and was the last thing missing to make Vuforia really the best AR Tool.
It would be nice to have a rating for a runtime created ImageTarget like the 0 to 5 stars from the Web TargetManager Platform or something similar, like 0 to 1 or 0 to 100 percent or something.
Is there a chance that the call (for us in Unity) runtimeImageSource.SetImage(texture, width, id) could return not only a bool? My be returning an object, which is null instead of false, if setImage did not work? And is a valid object with a rating or quality property? Or the SetImage function could have an out value as parameter and still return a bool?
However, it would be really great if a quality rating for a runtime created trackable could be accessed (whatever development plattform is used : Android, iOS, Unity).
Greetings
Martin
Hi,
Hi,
I can confirm that the star rating system is not available for the Run-time image targets. However I will bring it to Product Management attention and update this thread with relevant information.
Thank you.
