Image Target problem in Vuforia

Hi everyone!

I just started learning Vuforio and Unity.  I want to create an  AR program that points out the sample I am looking for in a room that contains around 2000 samples.

I have been learning a about Vuforia and I did everything that I saw in videos/documentation.

But I can't seem to add the image target to the scene window. I have read these forums and tried implementing the solutions others have suggested. While it worked for many, it didn't for me.  I am guessing maybe the configuration wasn't done correctly on my end (even though the AR camera is working perfectly fine and I imported the DB as well). But maybe I messed up something during/after the configuration.

Is it possible for anyone here to look into this matter?

Is it possible if we can use teamviewer or any other screen sharing software so you can have a look at my software?

I know it's a little too much to ask but it is also really important. It has been more than a week and a half that I have been trying to implement different solutions but massively failing.

Hence, desperate times, desperate measures.

I'd be really really obliged to anyone who can help me out here.

Best Regards,

Roshanay

Hi,

I don't know exactly where the problem is but you already added an image target to the scene.

From your screenshot I would guess that you are trying to add the actual image to the scene. That doesn't work like this.

Hi Sebben,

Please see the attached screenshot. I have selected Image Target. The  database and the Image Target are populated. Yet, nothing shows on the screen.

Hi,

the images are only visible from one side. You need to move around the image so you are facing the Y-axis (green arrow) or press on the green y-cone in the up right corner of the scene window.

I hope that helps.

Hi Sebben,

one thing more.

The image is displaying but the size is too small. I have been trying to fix this issue this issue but haven't been able to.

Can you please tell me how it can be done?

Hi,

the size should match the printed image size. You should scale your AR objects instead.

And if you meant that it appears too small in the editor window, you can zoom in with your mouse wheel or pressing "F" while selected the object.
