Using license key in sample apps

March 6, 2018 - 3:45am #1

I'm new to Vuforia, I've just created a free developer account and get the license key.

I've downloaded the C++ API, and the samples apps.

After compiled the project ImageTargets I would like to run it, could I use the developer license key I have for this?

If not I could I run sample apps?

Thank you

Bast regards

Using license key in sample apps

thank you for prompt answer.

I would like to create an AR application, that taking an image target as input, allows the user to associate different 2D contents to be the visualized in AR using Vuforia.

I would like the output to be deployable on different platforms. By now I'm just exploring Vuforia potentialities and so I'm using a free license.

My questions are:

1. Is it possible to create the appication user interface using WPF applicaton with C# and using Vuforia API for the processing? (in this case it should be loaded the Vuforia      C++ API inside C# solution)

2. It could be possible to define the target platform using Vuforia API?

3. The use of Unity with Vuforia and Visual Studio, allow only to create applications for Windows 10 (PC and phone)?

Thank you for feedbacks

Best regards

Hello Fabio,

You can use a developer license key for testing the samples and your own application as well. You'll only need to upgrade the license to a classic/pro when you are ready to publish your app.
