Vuforia Image Target

Dear all,

I am a new user to Unity and Vuforia.

Actually, I want to create an AR app with vuforia image target.

I want to know if I can scan a target and my model pops up and fixed in one location. I mean right now, when I move camera in or out, my model move too. It does not fixed there with the right location.

Could you help me please ?

Hello,

Without being able to inspect your project, my first thought is that your augmentation is not parented to the Image Target game object.

I suggest you download Vuforia Engine's free Core samples from the Asset Store as a reference for best practices.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Actually, if I use target as a flat position is okay. But I change it to stick on the wall, and my object is scaled much bigger to the right size. Due to Extended Tracking, I can see my object when I move my camera a bit away from target. But when I try to move closer to object, that object is moving away from me too. That's my problem and I am still trying to find a solution for that.

Hello @Sochea,

If the printed image does not match the size of the 2D target specified in the Target Manager/Unity Project, it can affect the accuracy of Extended Tracking. Suggest you see if Extended Tracking behaves the same when the printed image is the same size as what is specified in the device database.

Again, just a guess as the behavior is unclear without an accompanying video that demonstrates.
