Can Vuforia recognize Any QR code without it needing to be predefined?

Hello,

I've been trying to build a QR scanner app for the hololens using Unity and zxing,

but I've been running into a bug deploying to the hololens which is starting to look like a lack of support for the zxing plugin.

So basically my question is, can Vuforia, using VuMarks or some other built in, read the data of Any QR code, or even a Barcode for that matter, without needing the code to be predefined in the Target Manager?
