Can't get contrast to work (Vumark, Adobe)

December 6, 2016 - 1:08am #1

Hello, I am trying to make a basic Vumark that will encode the maximum number of ASCII characters (100). I got everything to pass Verification except the Border and Clear Space contrast which says that it is 'NaN'. How is it possible for the contrast to be Not a Number (or null I guess)? An image of my Adobe Illustrator project is attached. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My Clear Space rectangle is the light blue one and the big black filled rectangle is the Border.

I just got here with the same problem but I managed to fix it so I'm writing this up for future Vumark designers :)

In my case at least it was that I made the clear space rectangle a non-color (transparent) instead of making it white

I just made everything from scratch again and now it passes the contrast verification. I don't know what went wrong but it works now.
